Terms of Use

Welcome to the Tarot Journal app (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the App. The App is designed for personal and entertainment purposes only.

Users may access the App via Apple authentication on iOS devices and Google authentication on Android devices. By creating an account, Users agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Users are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and are accountable for all activities that occur under their account.

User account–related data will be permanently deleted after one (1) year of inactivity, measured from the date of the last recorded use or sign-in. Continued use of the service before that period resets the inactivity timer.

Accounts that only download and open the app once — meaning the creation date equals the last sign-in date — will be permanently deleted after one (1) month.

Plus accounts are exempt from deletion and their data will be retained.

Users can create entries called “Readings,” which represent their tarot readings. These Readings are stored locally on the user’s device by default and are not transmitted, shared, or stored on any external servers unless the user chooses to enable cloud sync.

For users with a paid subscription, the App provides an optional cloud synchronization feature. When enabled, certain data—including Readings and related content—may be securely stored on external servers for the purpose of multi-device access. Users may turn this feature on or off at any time.

Users may also create their own custom tarot decks within the App. All user-generated deck content, including images and metadata, is treated as user-owned content and follows the same storage behavior described above.

The App does not collect any personal data other than the user’s authentication email address. This email is used exclusively for account verification, login, and subscription management purposes. It is not shared, sold, or used for advertising or tracking.

For paid users who enable cloud synchronization, certain app data may be securely stored on cloud services. All synced data is encrypted, access-controlled, and protected by industry-standard security measures. Users may disable cloud sync at any time, in which case data remains stored only on the user’s device.

No Guarantee of Accuracy: The App provides entertainment and personal use services and does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of tarot readings.

Limitation of Liability: The App and its creators are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the App. Users agree to use the App at their own risk.

Users may terminate their account and use of the App by sending an email to tarotjournal@thekietdev.id.vn or filling out the feedback form. Upon termination, Users will no longer have access to their account and any associated Content.
